Mary Ann a passionate dog trainer and dog sports enthusiast with years of experience working with dogs in both competitive and service-oriented settings. Through her training journey, her dogs have successfully competed in Dock Diving and earned titles in Iron Dog and Barn Hunt competitions.

In addition to her involvement in dog sports, Mary Ann dedicated to giving back to the community through therapy dog work. Alongside her certified therapy dog, Star, she has visited hospitals, nursing homes, and participated in children’s reading programs, helping bring comfort, confidence, and joy to people of all ages.

As the owner of Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Ocean County, New Jersey, Mary Ann is committed to helping families build stronger relationships with their dogs through effective, focus-based training. Her passion for dogs extends beyond obedience, encompassing canine enrichment, community outreach, and the positive impact dogs can have on people’s lives.
