Krissy brings a rare depth of hands-on experience and calm confidence to the Sit Means Sit team. Prior to joining us, she worked as a professional dog groomer, giving her a strong foundation in canine handling, behavior, and reading body language across all temperaments.
For over 10 years, Krissy was deeply involved in rescue, fostering, training, and placement of high-drive and hybrid wolf-dogs, ensuring they were matched with appropriate homes and set up for long-term success. Her work required patience, structure, and advanced behavioral management—skills she now applies every day with our clients.
After graduating from our intensive Sit Means Sit apprenticeship program, Krissy has gone on to successfully train dogs through all levels of our system, helping owners achieve reliable off-leash obedience, behavioral stability, and real-world control. She currently shares her life with three rescue dogs of her own.
Outside of training, Krissy enjoys off-leash hiking and adventure work, focusing on freedom with accountability—one of the core philosophies behind Sit Means Sit training.
Krissy is known for her steady demeanor, strong communication with owners, and her ability to help dogs build clarity, confidence, and trust—making her an invaluable part of our training team.
